From here you have a wonderful view. You can look very far into the Odenwald. There is a bench. So ideal for a little break. At sunset, it's just a dream.

The castle is privately owned and therefore not open to the public. However, a natural path leads around the grounds, offering magnificent views of the Hohenlohe Plain.

In 1372 a Hof Hawberg ob Pfedelbach was first mentioned. However, the Heuberg settlement was only created in 1730 at the instigation of Count Ferdinand von Hohenlohe-Bartenstein through clearing and settlement of non-local Catholics. The Lustschlösschen Charlottenberg, built in 1712/13 by Count Ludwig Gottfried and named after his wife Luise Charlotte, b. Named Countess von Hohenlohe-Langenburg, was sold to farmers in 1782. Temporarily bought back by the Princes of Hohenlohe-Bartenstein, it was badly damaged by artillery fire in 1945 and then rebuilt as a house with a barn in 1947.
