Saint-Étienne-de-Montluc is a small town located 20 kilometers from Nantes. With 7,000 inhabitants, the city has several local shops which make it an ideal stopover for day walkers and itinerant travelers. Also, a train station connects Nantes several times a day, seven days a week.

This church built in the mid-19th century in a neo-classical style is not the most attractive in the region, but cyclists will appreciate the many shops and restaurants that surround it, for a possible break on the road between Nantes and the Guérande peninsula.
