The historic church in Tornby is worth seeing. A runic inscription in the chancel probably dates back to around 1200. The Romanesque part of the church consists of a nave, chancel, and apse. The tower was probably built in the 1500s.
On the left side of the altarpiece, the runic inscription is now protected behind a thick glass panel. Evidence of a restoration of the church in 1908 has been found.
In addition to the runes, there are also other signs and symbols: crosses, circles, and stars, scratched into the plaster.
