The Clark County Wetlands Park is on the east side of the Las Vegas valley. The park was designed to reduce the environmental impact of waste water and stormwater runoff. A series of ponds slow down the water and catch the silt. While the sides are lined with native plants who help purify the water by removing various pollutants.
