About the area
The Cletemspolder, part of the Groese Polders, has an exciting, child-friendly design, including a pull raft and a deck path. There is a viewpoint at the top and the path ends with a suspension bridge towards Groede. So a real playground! A gully cuts through the dunes and connects creek and dunes. But this play polder is not only full of play attractions! You can also enjoy the beautiful nature. The area has become a bird-rich area and is richly vegetated. The planting includes sea buckthorn, cardinal hat, water mint and eglantine. The rare turtle dove still coos here in the summer months and the sneaky bullfinch is in the thicket.
