Former light rail pavilions on Karlsplatz, built in 1898 as the Karlsplatz light rail station based on a design by Otto Wagner. Wagner designed two identically designed portal buildings. Wagner's design was revolutionary: the many decorative details make the station a prime example of Viennese Art Nouveau. Metal and wood were painted apple green, the signal color of the light rail. There was also gold and white marble on the outside.
