On a comfortable path along the Schmerach, there are always views of the stream-like brook bed. One can guess the power of the brook after heavy rain or snow melt unfolds. Half way there is a developed rest area with barbecue facilities on a beautiful meadow. From my own point of view, I advise you to look out for kingfishers, they are in the Schmerachtal.

Original, wild valley - ideal for a hike or a mountain bike tour.
Sturdy and waterproof footwear is highly recommended, the Schmerach has to be crossed several times.

Nordic walking

On a slight incline you follow the Schmerachtal, a side valley of the Bühler valley. The very gravelly brook bed shows how loose the limestone is in the soil and is easily washed out in the rain. Eisvogelrevier!
