Bike Republic Sölden:
“Ollweite” usually in conjunction with
“auf”: af Ollweite. In the Ötztal dialect, Ollweite means
in the open air, in open terrain, outside the yard, somewhere outside. The line starts below the Langegg mountain station at 2,600 m, ends at the Hühnersteign and, at 7 km, is one of the longest lines in the
Republic. It is physically demanding and extremely varied with cool berms, slightly blocked stone fields and wooden structures.

It goes all the way up with the middle chair lift. In front of it is a station for practicing hanging your bike (see picture). Always an "armchair" bicycles, then armchairs for drivers. Above is a super beautiful mountain lake, after a short stretch of road, you can see it straight away. Around that and then on the street right into the line. After a while you come to the large pinion sign. A good photo spot. The route has many berms and is sometimes rough, but overall the trail building was a great job. It is very long, so be in good physical condition. The routes are dry / tied up in no time after rain. Worth driving.
