From here you can get to Ampleben, from where you can climb the Elm. The steepest road in the Elm can be found here and this climb is popular and notorious. There are various statements circulating as to whether the ascent (or descent) is 9% or even 13%. The truth probably lies somewhere in between. Definitely worth a detour.
