An alternative hut to Schneekoppe

Nice place to take a break when touring from Sněžka.
Tour recommendation: start at the Sněžka, the ridge path to the Jelenka chalet. Then the path below the summit on the Czech side back to Sněžka and there the descent to the intermediate station or all the way down.
The way back described here is very demanding and should only be tackled if you are in good physical condition. In the summer you pass numerous roots and also a scree field is crossed. But you hardly meet any people, in contrast to the busloads on the Kammweg.
