A historic cottage, the oldest part of which dates from the 1790s.
The Kate got its current name from the shoemaker Matti Wilhelm Rindell. He came here in 1861 with his mother and stepfather. Later he lived on the farm with his wife and 7 children.
Today the Kate is a small museum reflecting the life of a shoemaker in the early 20th century. The Kate is always open on Sundays and can be visited free of charge.
