200 victims are buried here. In 1951, a sandstone monument with a surrounding relief by the Ludwigslust artist Herbert Bartholomäus was erected. In 2000/2001, the site was redesigned on the initiative of a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division (Leonard Linton).
