One of those famous Brussels parks, totally exotic, with a collective vegetable garden at the entrance....
The place is definitely worth a visit...

Leaving the forest, it is with an illustrious Belgian family that we have an appointment in the Tournay Solvay park. The Solvays, industrial magnates at the turn of the 20th century, erected multiple buildings across the region, like the Solvay hotel on Avenue Louise, listed as a world heritage site. They thus display their success in construction.
Here extends a rather unknown and bucolic park where we find the hand of the famous landscape architect Jules Buyssens, who landscaped it, in 1911, in the landscape style. In 1980, the Tournay-Solvay park was opened to the public and in 1984, a fire destroyed the château, which is currently being restored.

This very beautiful house of the former head gardener of the Tournay-Solvay Park, with its dovecote, built at the end of the 19th century in a seaside type architecture (we find this architecture along the Belgian and French coasts) is absolutely magnificent and well worth the detour.
A very nice must-have!
