This section connects the villages of Hohnhausen and Königsberg (in Bavaria) via a small, little-used side road that leads through the middle of the forest.
The road first goes uphill with a moderate incline, then downhill again in the second section. You arrive at the top of Königsberg at the junction to the castle (a short detour is worthwhile).
