As a matter of course, a paved road from Lichtenberg in Bavaria leads here today
Thuringian Lichtenbrunn. Although this street
had always existed, having disappeared from the atlases and road maps of the GDR for four decades. It ended on the Bavarian side as a public road right at the border.
While the road is restored, lets
only guess at the existence of the former butter mill.
