Tips
Construction began in the 1930s. Originally, a connection between Leipzig and the Saale was to be created. The construction project was stopped in 1943. There is now a new residential area right on Lützner Strasse. The actual harbor is still a lost place, which can be viewed well from the somewhat hidden path that leads past the harbor basin.
