The St. George's Church is one of Sopot's most distinctive historical buildings. Built between 1899 and 1901 and originally consecrated as the Church of the Redeemer, it combines Neo-Gothic forms with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Its slender tower rises above Monte Cassino Street, the resort town's central promenade. Inside, the stained-glass windows and the calm, clear spatial design are worth a look. A short detour is recommended on any route through the city center – the church is just a few steps away from the lively hustle and bustle, forming a quiet contrast to it.
