In the Bergherwald there is the beautiful lookout tower de Hulzenberg in the village of Stokkum. This observation tower is accessible to anyone who dares to climb it. Once you have completed the striking climb, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the great surroundings at a height of 21 meters.... For those who would like to combine a beautiful hike with the climb to the observation tower, this is also possible! The observation tower has been included in various hiking routes in the Bergherwald.

Examples of these routes are:

The genetic route. This hike is 9 kilometers long and starts at the Uitspanning 't Peeske restaurant. About halfway along the route (after approx. 5km) you will find the observation tower

De 't Peeske Tour. This hike is 7 kilometers long and also starts at the Uitspanning 't Peeske restaurant. After 3km you will see the observation tower to climb.

The Hulzenberg route. This hike is 5.5 kilometers long and starts in the village of Stokkum. About halfway you will find the observation tower.
