Liyang Highway No 1 (溧阳1号公路) is a set of awesome cycling routes around Tianmu Lake and Daxi Reservoir.
On the west side of the lake the route takes you primarily along a main road with plenty of traffic, or you can turn off and enjoy this section on a smaller road. Smooth asphalt, pretty views and local impressions.

Cycling
A large part of the Liyang Highway No 1 runs on main roads up the west side of the lake. This section takes you off the main road onto a smaller road connecting a couple of villages. It is much nicer to ride and also offers some nice views, before reconnecting to the main road again.
