The Paltrockmühle was built in Oranienburg in 1839 as a post mill. In 1879 the master miller Otto Melior acquired the building, had it dismantled and the individual parts transported to Langerwisch by barge and horse-drawn carriage. Here the mill was rebuilt true to the original in 1879 at its current location. In 1930 the mill was converted into a more efficient Paltrock mill. ...
The mill has been functional again since 2000 and is used in particular for demonstrations such as the German Mill Day. In 2017 she was among other locations for the fairy tale film The Swineherd.

It can be visited on Mill Day. She is very interesting. The mill was rebuilt at this location in 1937, having previously been dismantled at the old location.
