The old sessile oak stands on the designated "Hutewaldweg" hiking trail, which leads past other old trees. From a height of around 10 m, the slightly curved trunk has a crown with twisted, gnarled branches.

Hiking

It is a nice hike, but unfortunately the paths are partly churned up by heavy forest vehicles and were difficult to walk on. We also lost the signs for the old sessile oak. We should have gone back and then turned left. Pity!
