A village in the municipality of Zocca, Rosola is home to the Rangoni Machiavelli tower, the only remaining evidence of the ancient castle of Rosola, dating back to the 13th century. The tower is now cut off and is undoubtedly the oldest building in the area. In the wall facing, made with rough-hewn sandstone stones, you can still see the original entrance to the tower, at the height of the first floor.
