The cliffs of "Ofanleiti Hamar" are the home of many nesting birds. The most prominent are Puffin, Fulmar, Razorbill and Rock Dove.

In the rocky lava above the cliffs you can also find waders such as The European Golden Plover, The Common Snipe and The Common Redshank. You might also see Passerifomes such as The Red Wing, The Northern Wheatear, The Meadow Pipit and The White Wagtail.
