The Howth Cliff Walk, also known as the Howth Head Walk, stands out as one of Dublin's premier walking experiences.

Now, this captivating trail offers four distinct versions, catering to different fitness levels and preferences, varying in both length and difficulty.

For those seeking a quicker jaunt, the shortest route takes around 1.5 hours. On the flip side, the Bog of Frogs Purple Route, the longest option, spans a fulfilling 3 hours and begins in Howth village. 🚶‍♀️🏞️🗺️

On this side the path is pleasantly wide and level. Sturdy shoes are still recommended. There are also very, very few places to rest.

Even though it is a relatively wide and well-paved path, it is highly recommended to have good shoes as there are puddles along the way, especially after it has rained. It can also be very windy, so it is better to have a firm footing for your own safety. The view is beautiful and worth the effort!
