Glen Duror Bothy is nestled deep in the Glen Duror woods in the shadow of Beinn a' Bheithir, a mountain cloaked in conifer plantations.

It's also known as Taigh Seumas A' Ghlinne bothy after James of the Glen. James was hung after he was allegedly framed in the Appin murder – as described in Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel, Kidnapped.

Inside, you'll find a single open-plan room with a U-shaped platform bed that sleeps four. There's also a stove, table and wooden sofa which could sleep an additional person.

The hut is easy to get to by bike with a scenic forest track linking with Duror, a village on The Caledonia Way cycle path.
