Anyone planning to return to Parga via the high-level path after visiting the church should be extremely careful, or better yet, avoid it altogether. Below the church is a solar park, and to the left of that is a sheep pasture with a fence riddled with holes in the ground. Sheepdogs can easily squeeze through these holes, blocking passage and attacking immediately. Despite turning back at once, I was attacked by three dogs and bitten by one. There was no shepherd in sight. The owners' behavior was irresponsible. However, visiting the church itself was perfectly safe.
