Valtos Beach

The small town of Parga is a popular tourist spot with its old fortresses and narrow streets.

For example, on the west coast of Greece in the Epirus region is the small, idyllic town of Parga. Surrounded by mountains and olive groves, the city enchants with its colorful houses, untouched nature and beautiful beaches.

Valtos Beach is one of the main beaches in Parga. Most of the areas with sunbeds belong to hotels and cost money. If you walk up the hill on the west side of the beach, you will reach a path that leads to Sarakkiniko Beach. It is very busy here in high season. Hiking is particularly beautiful in spring and autumn. From Valtos there is also a path to the village of Anthousa and to an old mill with a museum about the history of the region.
