The castle is owned by the Hansagymnasium in Cologne and has served as a school camp for decades. I was a guest there in 1969 as a high school student and still remember the great excursions in the area. In the evening we stopped at the “An der Klunsch” restaurant. The manor castle from the 19th century is located in the so-called “Golden Grund” in the southern Eifel on the Sauer.
