The parish church of Mensdorf is under the protection of the Virgin Mary (Assumption of Mary) and also venerates the three holy virgins Faith, Hope, and Charity. A unique feature is the figure of Saint Gall – patron saint of livestock farmers – which is the only one of its kind in the region. As early as the 12th century, the church passed into the possession of Echternach Abbey, which led to its participation in the abbey's dancing procession. The present church was built in 1853 on the site of an earlier structure. Inside are three Baroque altars, a barrel vault dating from 1920, and an organ from Rodange. The neo-Gothic parish church is the center of religious life in the village and is surrounded by several chapels.
