Hiking
Savannah National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to see wildlife. The refuge is home to a variety of animals, including alligators, deer, foxes, birds, and more. Hiking is a great way to see these animals in their natural habitat. There are loads of hiking trails to make your own loop. A small of the hike might be on Wildlife Drive, a dirt road where motorized vehicles are allowed.

The perfect hike in the sultry heat... by car through nature! Unfortunately we didn't see any alligators, but we did see other animals. Great free circular route.
