Coming from Treviso, the tower and the walls of the castle cannot be missed: the Castle of San Salvatore dominates Susegana and confirms the importance of the surrounding territory.

Built by the noble Collalto family in the mid-13th century, it served as a defensive structure throughout the Middle Ages, before becoming a splendid manorial residence and a local and European artistic center. After the First World War, in which San Salvatore was badly damaged in a bomb attack, the castle was restored and today forms the elegant backdrop for many events and events. Also visit the hamlet, the Venetian-style palazzo from 1700 with the magnificent works of great Venetian masters of the time and enjoy the view that the privileged location offers!
