Bishop Mac Caille's Graveyard marks the spot of a 5th century early Christian church that used to lie here. The area has historical importance to some as it was the first place in Ireland to be christianised. The stones that were used to build the church now lay on the ground as a wall around the graveyard which you will be able to see on your visit.
