The ascent to the Saflischpass is very varied. Immediately after Binn near the Heiligkreuz bridge, the road begins to rise. First on asphalt, later on gravel road. It is always worth a look, the view is just great. At the second last bend to Breithorn at 2260m at an alpine hut, the route then goes away from the gravel road on the trail to Saflischpass. From there, there are z.T. Passages that are so steep that you push the bike with advantage. Keep your eyes open, marmots often have their caves just a few feet off the path. But it's well worth the effort. The barren landscape and the great view from the Saflisch Pass is simply awesome. But then the best thing is to follow the descent to Brig.

Important, absolutely enough to take with you liquid! The ascent is long and the next safe "gas station" is again at a restaurant above Rosswald. If you are lucky there is a tap at the alpine hut, where the route branches off on the trail, a faucet, which is in operation. But do not rely on it.

Immediately outside Binn after the Heiligkreuzbrücke the way to increase. Mostly pleasant between 8 - 10% slope. The increase is very varied. At the beginning still on asphalt the way then goes on gravel. At the second last bend before the Breithorn at an altitude of 2260m, near an alpine hut, we take the route on the trail. From there, the path is so steep at certain points that you have to push the bike. Mindful, Murmertiere have their buildings z.T. right on the wayside. If you notice them early enough, you can see their industrious activities from a small distance. It is always worth a look back, the barren mountain landscape and the view is just terrific.

Attention, take enough liquid with you on this tour. After Binn, there is usually no more "petrol station" to Rosswald. If you are lucky the faucet is in operation at the alpine hut where the trail branches off to the hiking trail. But do not rely on it.
