The Lille-Raipas (Northern Sami Unna Ráipásaš 'Little Raipas') is a mountain southeast of the city of Alta. The mountain is 286 moh. high and is one of the 34 survey points of the Struve Arc (out of a total of 265), which were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005 as the Struve Arc. The arc stretches from Hammerfest in the north to the Black Sea. In the mid-19th century, it was used to confirm and measure the flattening of the earth at the poles (earth ellipsoid).
