Hiking
The Hof van Wijckhuize is an important monument for the entire Westhoek. After all, it is one of the only 17th-century rural mansions to survive the ravages of time and the wars. Until the beginning of the 20th century, the house remained in the hands of the village nobility, who gave it their family name. Since 1981, the municipal services of Alveringem have been housed here. Next to the town hall is a huge jug, a sculpture by M. Cordenier with the title 'Water'.
