Seed extraction plant (without extension) and cone drying warehouse, located in Augustów, commune Pionki, together with elements of the technical and technological process of storing and obtaining seeds from cones, have been entered into the register of monuments due to their preserved scientific and historical values.

These objects constituted a functional complex in a separate complex of the then Zagożdzon Forestry Inspectorate. In the vicinity there is a historic forester's lodge, which houses the Teaching and Museum Chamber of the Kozienice Forest, established in 1993.

Cones of various species of trees were stored in the drying warehouse, which were then sent to the thermal seed hulling plant.

The form and appearance of the buildings have been preserved. The technical and technological structure of the seed hulling plant (thermal type) and the cone drying warehouse is original and dates back to the interwar period. They are a unique example of pre-war forest (engineering) construction in Poland.
