Elbe meadows are also flood areas during high water. Old soliary oaks have developed here in a unique way and stand in the landscape like natural works of art. Dead arms of the Elbe meander along the path and reflect the sun. The region is a breeding ground for waterfowl, birds of prey and songbirds.
