The upper town of Dingolfing is particularly worth seeing. They are there
- the local history and city museum (extra highlight),
- the war memorial from 1870/1871
- the "Wirgarten", a particularly beautifully renovated traditional restaurant with a wonderful beer garden that offers wonderful views of the city and the Isar valley.
- the district office,
- the stork tower with parts of the tax office,
- a nicely designed square with a fountain.
The access to the Upper City can be made from the lower city via a beautiful footpath, a staircase from Rennstraße or via the high bridge.
