    Hiking

Nice walk, on the verge of mountaineering because of the fixed ropes that you can also not use. The path is slightly exposed in the final stretch you have to be careful not to drop the stones. Starting early in the morning you avoid the clouds that normally form in the afternoon on the summit. Since it is the highest peak in the vicinity of Turin, it is very popular. Walking sticks and hiking boots are enough to tackle this climb.

    Hiking

You can hike it in one day from LaRiposa (2050m), a 1500mD+, or in two easy days by spending on night at Ca' d'Asti refuge (2854m).
For Susa est exit on A32 Torino-Bardonecchia highway it takes around 1h to reach Parcheggio La Riposa, on a narrow road.
Remember that Rocciamelone is 3538m high, so temperature can drop down dramatically even on a summer day
