The Benedicta massacre, which took place between 6 April and 11 April 1944, was a summary execution of seventy-five partisans belonging to Garibaldi's formations, carried out by soldiers of the National Republican Guard and German units in the Benedicta area near Capanne di Marcarolo, in the municipality of Bosio, in the Ligurian Apennines. Seventy-two other partisans had fallen in previous clashes.
