The Zielenbacher Tal nature reserve is located in the municipality of Morsbach in the Oberberg district. The approximately 11.4 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1992, extends north-west of the core town of Morsbach. The Zielenbacher Bach has its source north of the village of Kömpel and flows into the Wisserbach.
