With a small path across the acre the watchtower ruin can be reached. It itself is locked, but you can climb the stairs to peek inside. This used to be part of an alarming chain along the coast.

“The unenclosed signal station at Ardmore, County Waterford, consists of a heavily modified signal tower that was converted into a residence but is now abandoned. The walls are covered in render, the top of the walls have had crenellations added and a set of external steps wrap around the north west corner of the tower to provide access to the first floor.”
