San Leo is always worth entering into your laps. It is about 40 km from rimini and the siraggiunge along the s.s. 256 Marecchiese, after the village of Pietracuta, turn left and from here begins the climb that leads to San Leo in about 15 km. There are interesting slopes with hairpin bends and long uphill stretches with slopes near and over 10%.

The fortress of San Leo, which was the prison of the "famous" Count of Cagliostro (adventurer, swindler, alchemist and esotericist who pretended to be a doctor in Strasbourg), offers an excellent panoramic point over the valleys below. To reach it you have a challenging eight kilometer climb, with gradients from 4 to 12% with hairpin bends and a road surface that is not in excellent condition. Stop to admire the view from here.
