The Meyerhausen jetty, as part of the lake circuit, is currently approx. 1 m long and 23 m wide. It has a bathing platform measuring approx. 2 m x 2 m at the head. The jetty has wooden planks that are uneven and often very slippery. It is currently difficult for wheelchair users to use and access the jetty without restrictions. After the new construction, the jetty will be 2.00 m wide and the bathing platform will be 4 m x 4 m. The path area in front of the footbridge will be repaved and the paved areas will be expanded. This also improves usability for people with limited mobility. Wheelchair users, including the necessary accompanying persons, can comfortably use the jetty or the bathing area. The quality of stay on the jetty and the attractiveness of the bathing area will be improved. For this reason, seating (benches) will also be created in front of the jetty.
