The church, built around 1500, was blown up by German soldiers in 1944 before American troops moved in.
The newly built current parish church was consecrated on May 31, 1953 by Auxiliary Bishop Hünermann from Aachen.
The church room is 21 m wide, 50 m long and 16.5 m high. The towers have a height of 42.5 m.

In Aldenhoven in the Café Bremen you can still get very good coffee, a large cup for 3.70 euros and cake for 3.20 euros. Very tasty and the service is super nice.
Bread is also available on Sundays.
At Indemann and Blausteinsee it is much more expensive and the selection is small. Café Bremen is my first choice. 10/20/2024
