The cave-houses are one of several Chinchilla monuments that were declared a Historic-Artistic Site. The caves from the 16th century were the homes of the Jewish and Muslim population, expelled after the conquest of the Catholic Monarchs. Today they have become an original and even luxurious home.

Hiking

The cave houses are one of the architectural peculiarities of Chinchilla. They are built on the slopes of the hills that surround the city and are carved into the rock. They are characterized by being cool in summer and warm in winter.
