A sleepy fishing village, Crookhaven was once a busy port, being the last stopover for ships leaving to cross the Atlantic. Some say that it was so busy, you could cross the harbour by walking across the decks of boats.
Be sure to visit O'Sullivan's, the most southerly pub in Ireland and take a seat outside overlooking the harbour.
