Medium-commitment stage, which, with the exception of the first section, takes place almost constantly in a well-shaded wooded environment following, as in the previous stage, the CAI 019 route up to the Futa pass and then the CAI 052.
Some difficulty should be noted in finding the entrance to the CAI 52 path which leads to the Monte di Fo or Santa Lucia al Passo della Futa stage posts: the only signpost is a small handwritten note on a post of the road sign placed before the roundabout, barely visible.
Compared to the two previous stages, there are fewer water points.
Numerous archaeological emergencies along the route such as sections of the ancient military Flaminia at various levels of conservation and a furnace for obtaining lime from limestone, also from the Roman era.
