Hiking

This is a lovely inn, and the best place to sit is on the terrace. You can even watch the tides of the Wümme River from here. It wasn't designed by the architect Taut; the so-called "cheese dome" is located in Worpswede!

Hiking

The house was built in 1926 according to the plans of architect Bruno Taut by the writer Edwin Koenemann. The wooden house is now a listed building and has been completely renovated in recent years. The building, which attracted attention due to its unusual igloo shape, was nicknamed "Cheese Dome" by the residents of Worpswede.
