The Kleine Viehofner See is a nature reserve in the town of St. Pölten, where you can observe the flora and fauna. It is part of the Viehofner Seen recreation area, which also includes the Großer Viehofner See, where you can swim, surf, sail or rent a boat. The Kleine Viehofner See is prohibited for bathing, boating and holding events to protect nature. But you can take a nice walk around the lake or climb the lookout tower, which offers a wonderful panoramic view over the lake area.
